Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (H.P.M.C) 2910 E5, Hypromellose, is a semisynthetic, viscoelastic polymer, it is a cellulose ether. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) E5 can be dissolved into some organic solvents and also in water-organic solvent mixed solvents. it does not have a gelation property when heated. HPMC is non-toxic to humans the raw material from cotton and wood. HPMC E5 2910, meaning that its average content of methoxyl groups is 29% and its average content of hydroxypropyl groups is 10%.
