Product Description
Salicylic Acid Industrial Grade is a light pink to off-white crystalline powder, odorless. The initial melting point of the dry product is above 156°C, and it can sublime at normal pressure above 76°C. Its aqueous solution is acidic and purple with FeC13. This product is insoluble in cold water, soluble in boiling water, easily soluble in alcohols and ethers, and slightly soluble in chloroform.
