Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC E4M) – Pharmaceutical Grade
HPMC E4M is a high-viscosity grade of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, specifically designed for advanced pharmaceutical formulations requiring strong gel formation, high viscosity, and controlled drug release. As a non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ether derived from natural cellulose, HPMC E4M is widely used in sustained-release dosage forms and matrix systems.
With significantly higher viscosity compared to lower grades such as E3, E6, and E50, HPMC E4M provides superior gel strength and extended release control, making it ideal for hydrophilic matrix tablet formulations.
