Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC E50) – Pharmaceutical Grade
HPMC E50 is a medium-to-high viscosity grade of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, widely used in pharmaceutical formulations requiring enhanced viscosity, film strength, and controlled-release performance. As a non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ether derived from natural cellulose, HPMC E50 provides excellent functionality in both solid and liquid dosage forms.
With significantly higher viscosity compared to E3 and E6 grades, HPMC E50 is especially suitable for sustained-release matrix systems, thickening applications, and robust film coating processes.
